Lean but well muscled, Nova stands at 14.3 hands high. A chocolate brown coat graces her fine body and it topped by a flaxen mane and tail. Her mane and tail are long and straight, her tail nearly sweeping the ground. A scar runs along her left flank, the token of a fight from her younger years. On the same side of her body, four colored stars lay upon her shoulder. It is from this marking that Nova gets her name. Nova stands on black hooves.
the personality,
Born a free spirit, Nova was always been wild and untamed, loving to run. Her strong will either makes her the perfect leader, or worst follower. From a young age she has been described at "scatter brained" for her constant love for lore and fairy tales. At night she can often be found gazing at the stars for which she is marked after.
Not one to be much of an instigator of fights, Nova will attempt to negotiate a terms of mediation before turning to hoof and tooth. Despite this fact, should she be attacked first, she will not hesitate to defend herself or those she is obligated to look after. Nova is overall caring but defensive, if not a bit territorial.
the history,
Born the offspring of two wild horses with no names, Nova grew up a free spirit. From birth she was wild and untamed, fascinated with the fairy tales and lore her mother spun. Growing into a strong and able bodied mare, Nova never lost her heart for the stars.
At four years old, Nova lost the only horse she ever loved to starvation, her mother. Devastated by her death, Nova attempted to live out her life as a free lander. Near starvation and dehydration soon put a stop to this. With her mind made up, Nova made one of the most difficult decisions of her life. The mare gave up her freedom and moved into herd territory, looking to be accepted into the Kethali herd. Now healthy and strong, nova begins her life anew.
