the appearance,

Amaia is quite a plain horse in regards to colour, she’s white with darker grey stockings and teal blue eyes, with not extra-ordinary markings to speak off. Her build is quite slim and elegant, with a thick mane and a long forelock. She stands at 16.2hh, which hints towards a taller breed somewhere in her genetics, although she mainly has the appearance of an Arabian crossbreed. She's holds herself quite finely, with an arched neck, she has long and slim legs. (I suck at describing physical attributes, in case you hadn't noticed :3)

the personality,

Amaia is a very vain creature, she thinks highly of herself, although not to the extent where she’s brings other people down. She’s very confident in her abilities and does have moments when she tries to use this confidence to help others. She’s a bold and courageous person, she isn’t afraid to stand up and speak out. She can be a bit of a gold digger, and likes to further her own social standing as much as she can. But Amaia does have positive attributes as well, she’s loyal to her friends and sometimes overly defensive of them. She is friendly and enjoys having a laugh, she doesn’t take life very seriously sometimes. Independent, with a love of the sea, especially during a storm when its most wild. Amaia isn't really a flirt, her position when it comes to men is mostly that they are friends. She's a hard person to get romantically close to; not because she has a scarred past, its just how she is. Amaia isn't the type to settle down unless its the right person, she's a bro's before ho's kind of girl and will always be closer to her friends then any of her beaus. But that's not saying that she doesn't have romantic interests towards others, they just tend to be less serious then a proper relationship should be.

the history,

Amaia’s life has been quite simple really, she was born in a large herd and spent her first year well protected and trained. She was very close to her half-sisters, and they grew up as their own mini-herd inside the larger one. But Amaia's life changed when she was a year and a half, her father died and the herd was left leaderless. The lead mare did her best to keep the herd safe, but without a stallion the mares were slowly picked off one by one, captured by bachelor stallions and herded off by other leaders. Amaia and her sisters grew further apart from the main herd and during her second spring Amaia lead them away for good.

The sisters were found by one of the stronger herd leaders during summer that year and her sisters were content in his herd, but not Amaia. She wandered around for most of her life, she had briefly joined a few herds but none of them had been interesting enough to capture her interest. She had met one particular stallion called Phantom of the Opera, and she had her first foal with him, Lucian. Amaia spent a lot of time with her son, raising him as best she could before both he and his father disappeared. Amaia moved on after that, continued her wandering and gradually found her way here. She remained a rogue horse for a while, until living like that became a gruelling task. Amaia put her lot in with Fiele, although she is still new to the kingdom.
