the appearance,
Vaughn is an incredibly well-groomed equine, with a sleek shining coat and perfectly groomed mane. He's a picture of perfection when his fur is concerned. He's not too bad in the looks department either, which he often uses to his advantage.
He has a pristine, almost glowing, White coat and mane, Which show his incredibly vain disposition to all who see him. It's hard not to really, Since as one of the free he would have had to do it all by himself, and you would have to be vain to spend all that time keeping well groomed in the first place. His eyes are a vibrant dark blue colour that seem to go very well with his coat colour, and they just happen to be his favourite features. But keeping in mind he loves every part of himself, it really isn't that much of a deal.
Vaughn pronounces his words thoroughly and properly, and anyone talking to him will immediately recognise him as someone of high class (Or at least someone how likes to have an air of nobility. His voice seems to emanate ostentatious-ness, and he enjoys the sound of his own voice quite a bit as it happens.
When one watches Vaughn walk, they will notice that he walks with a straight back, and has a gracious or even noble air about his stance. though I doubt anyone would describe him as 'noble' in any way, shape or form. He almost never lowers his head, and keeps it high at all times.
Vaughn is a tall, slim stallion with long legs and a strong neck. He also appears to have a series of large, debilitating scars on the side of his stomach. they are generally well hidden, and one would have to be standing quite close to notice it in the first place. He has never told anyone how they occurred.
the personality,
Vaughn isn't a very endearing character to say the least. He's narcissistic, egotistical, shows signs of megalomania and displays a near psychopathic disregard for life. It is also well-known that he possesses some amount of sexual impropriety, and a total disregard of loyalty or fidelity.
Vaughn has very little patience and an incredibly vain approach to his appearance--He wont allow anyone to see him if he isn't looking his very best, and anyone to even utter a insult regarding his attire will likely come under heavy fire from his sarcastic and patronising comments.
Vaughn is a very selfish and immoral individual (some have even described him as totally and utterly Amoral), and is happy to watch others suffer or even die if it benefits him in any way. He has no concern for anyone but himself, and would walk past a dying colt without giving it a second glance. Vaughn is a very efficient equine due to his self centered ways, as moral standing and compassion have almost never crossed his mind, and even when it did he wasn't bothered by it.
Vaughn is a charmer when it comes to the ladies, And will shower them in gifts and compliments if given the chance. But he really hasn't ever charmed a lady to kick-start a lasting relationship, if ever. Whenever Vaughn compliments a girl it's usually a disguised ruse to get them into bed. even when someone did manage to get him into a relationship, it never lasted long due to his obvious infidelity and open views on sex.
Vaughn's general success in the big bad world was mainly due to his uncanny ability to persuade and manipulate others around him. And since he isn't particularly skilled in fighting or even running away from enemies, his manipulation, wit and intelligence is what made Vaughn what he is today. Without it he would surly be dead, considering how many loathe him for the suffering he enjoys inflicting on others. he is a skilled tactician and can formulate a good strategy in a relatively short time period. He's never been a good one to place on the front lines, however, or even on a battlefield or mission at all in fact. He is one best placed behind the scenes-Due to his tragic lack at skill in combat.
Vaughn is a prideful and incredibly vain male, but not so much that it clouds his mind to the talents of those around him. He is a smart boy after all, and certainly wont mess with anyone who's sure to snap and rip his head off if he makes a single smart comment. He often commends the achievements of others in fact, even if it does come across as slightly forced and un-interested.
Vaughn, along with all his other wonderfully redeeming qualities, Is merciless. Once you have crossed him he wont let it lie, and given the chance he'll kill you without giving it a second thought. (Which isn't at all out of character for him really, considering his near-psychopathic disregard life and all others around him)
[/tt]the history,
Vaughn isn't one of those stereotypical grumpy guys from the movies who were once nice and happy but turned bad due to a traumatic experience-He's always been a uncaring arse, It's just he's gotten worse since a bad experience he went though. Like I said in his personality-Vaughn hasn't had many long-lasting relationships. The reason for this is (Other then him being an un-loyal bastard), Is that Vaughn lost the only woman he really ever loved in a terrible way. He hasn't ever discussed it with anyone so I can't give you the details, But some people know that he received his debilitating scars form this ordeal. Vaughn went through a lot in this time, And he even changed his personality somewhat to deal with the pain of his past. He always generally uncaring, But afterwards he became totally self-centered and almost fully Amoral.
